God’s Encouraging Word

Until I get there, focus on reading the Scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them. 1 Timothy 4:13

When I first became a believer in Jesus Christ I was only 12 years old. I attended a church that focused more on moral and political reform, than on teaching the Scriptures, so my spiritual growth was very slow.

In college I went to a Bible teaching church for the first time and I was completely blown away! The pastor made the Bible come alive; explaining it in a way that I could understand.

Since then, I have developed a hunger and passion for the Word of God that continues to grow. The Bible is God’s love letter to us. Through His Word He encourages us in our faith and inspires us to keep growing in Christian maturity.

For these very reasons “The Encouraging Word” ministry was started. We are in the final stages of editing our first Bible study “Beauty for Ashes”, a study based on the Word of God dealing with discouragement.

Please join us in praying for this ministry; that the Lord would be glorified and honored as more people discover God’s encouraging Word for themselves.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for your beautiful words of life spoken to us in the Bible. Bless this ministry and send your encouraging Word around the world.
