Give Thanks

I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. Psalm 108:3-5

Dear Father, I am so grateful you have made those that believe in Jesus Christ your Son part of your family. We are your children. To be a part of your family is such an amazing beautiful miracle. We are not just servant’s in your household (though that would be a high honor), but we are members of the royal family, and not even a distant cousin, we are your sons and daughters. It is too wonderful a blessing to fully understand. Thank you for calling us and saving us and pouring your rich blessings upon us.

John 1:12 To all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.

Romans 8:16 For His Holy Spirit speaks to us, deep in our hearts and tells us that we are Gods children.

  1. Oh Linda, this made my heart so tender. I substituted the word I for we and me for us to make your prayer all the more personal to me. I even prayed it out loud. It is such a true and powerful prayer. Thank you! Have a Blessed and Joyful Thanksgiving to all my sisters in Christ. Our God reigns and He loves us so tenderly.
