It Is Good Friday!

“And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” 1 John‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I just received this from our dear sister, Marlene. I felt called to share this great news with our friends and readers today. The following has been written by Marlene:

Today is Good Friday, the day our Loving God watched His only Son submit to torture and shame and then die on a cross so that we could have abundant life, life in real relationship with Him.

As I sit here is Mark’s [hospital] room, I am humbled by the knowledge that God has given that to us now twice. Mark is alive and healing very wonderfully because a family loved others enough to allow their loved one to give life to them in her death.

We truly understand what a miracle and answer to prayer we have received and hope to respect and honor this gift always.

We also understand that we would not be here if not for all of you praying for us. We send praises to God for His miracle gift to us in a new liver and we praise Him all the more for the gift of all of you praying!!! Your prayers were heard!!!!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we are in awe of You and Your gift of life for Mark today! We thank You for Your gift of eternal life with You for those of us that believe in You and Your risen Son! Lord, thank You for hearing our prayers! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

That my prayers may have played a small part in this miracle is an honored blessing for me. Thank you for allowing us to pray and to be a part of your journey. We are all over the moon happy for you both!!
Praise our Lord, on this most hallowed of days.
