Wake Up and Smell the Roses

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7

Do you feel like you are missing out on this journey called life? Hitting the snooze button, over and over again? Wake up! Open your eyes and see the beauty all around you in your every day life. Count your blessings instead of your problems and your life will take on a whole new meaning.

Prayer:  Thank you Heavenly Father for the rain; as it refreshes the earth and makes everything grow green and lush. Thank you for your Word that refreshes my soul and grows me in love and character. Thank you for family, with all their issues and idiosyncrasies; it is a blessing to love them and pray for them. Thank you Father for work, for purpose and reasons to get up in the morning, to serve and help others or to provide a product. Work is a blessing.

Join me today in thanking our Heavenly Father for our blessings. Lets wake up from our  slumber and smell the roses all around us.

  1. Thank you Linda for your litany of Thankfulness. It made me feel so positive. I have a big card in my kitchen that says Count your Blessings. I know when we do this, it makes our Heavenly Father smile. Loved the photo! Blessings, Susan
