God’s Heavenly Shower

“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

My daughter’s wedding shower is this coming Saturday, and what a joy it has been to plan and prepare for every detail. They call these parties, showers, because the guests shower the bride-to-be with love, good wishes, encouragement and gifts for the couples new home.

The Lord too, desires to shower His children with love, and hope for a glorious future, with precious gifts along the way.                                                                                                For we are loved. ….. “We are like olive trees flourishing in the house of God; as we trust in His unfailing love forever and ever.” Psalm 52:8                                                                What hope and joy await us… “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind can grasp… the wonderful things God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9                                                                                                                                                    What a beautiful life the Lord desires to shower upon us.. “Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10 B

The Lord is encouraging you today; you are loved, you have a glorious future ahead of you and you have abundant life today.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, help us to embrace the blessings you shower upon us every day. We love you Lord, in Jesus name. Amen.
