Radiate God’s Glory

”For, ’All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was preached to you.’” 1 Peter 1:24-25

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 19:1

Reading the Bible is one of my favorite things to do! It’s when we are reading the Bible that we increase our knowledge of His will for our lives, like how to treat others and how to handle disappointment and joys. With Fall here and Winter approaching, days are growing darker, colder and wetter. Yet, I do not mind, unless I’m stuck out IN the wet, cold weather. However, I do certainly love watching the leaves and grasses change to brilliant colors. The blazing hues are my favorite pallet. Regrettably, the leaves announce their glory, then glide to the ground and fade.

Though the grass and leaves fade, God’s Word does not. It always announces God’s glory! I am eagerly looking forward to creating a cozy place for coffee, a snuggly blanket and my Bible. Of course, there will need to be room for my dog and my cat who enjoy this comfy space with me. Their snuggles and love remind me how much I am loved by God. I choose to see His glory and love in the beautiful creation around me; the dynamic Fall leaves, gorgeous sunsets, adorable animals or the precious people around me. All of His creation radiates His glory.

Prayer: Thank You, Father God, that when I draw close to You, I feel the touch of Your love in my heart. Help us to seek You throughout our days, to see the blessings You place before us and to share and radiate Your love to those around us.
