Be Strong in the Lord!

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor for sake you. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; … Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:6,8

The Lord encouraged me today with His Word. The ministry is so overwhelming. I truly am not capable of doing all that God has laid on my heart to do. I am weak and scared. I am discouraged by my lack of progress.

However, when I hear the Lord encourage me, that He is with me and that He will never leave me, it gives me hope. I am strengthened to know it is the Lord himself that will go before me. I don’t have to “make it happen” or worry and fret about how it’s all going to come together. I just need to trust, that God will do what He has promised, and be strong and courageous through His mighty hand.

Prayer: Thank you Heavenly Father for encouraging me today. Help me be the woman you have called me to be and to trust you through the process. In Jesus name. Amen.

  1. So wise Linda to know that God is your strength and to trust Him each day with moving ahead or just resting. He may want you to just rest for a bit and reflect on all the recent happenings in your family. After a good rest, we are usually more productive. Trust Him with the time table of this ministry. Blessings, Susan
