“O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven or on earth, keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart.”
2 Chronicles 6:14.
I am sure that each one of us has a story of how we were saved from some circumstance that threatened our lives. And if you think about that situation again, you will see God‘s hand in it and how He saved you. What story of your walk would you share?
My story happened 16 1/2 years ago. I was at the hospital being induced to give birth to my twin sons when a downward spiral of medical complications occurred. One of my babies was going into distress and an emergency C-section needed to occur quickly. They rushed us in to the OR and my sons were born with no complications to them. I on the other hand lost quite a bit of blood. The doctors and my family could see how weak I was. I needed to have blood transfusions. I was so thankful for the wisdom of the doctors and nurses and for the support of my family and friends. God cared so much for my unborn sons that he guided each medical personnel to my side. Each specialist knew what to do to save the boys and me. I am so grateful to Him for protecting us.
Now, my sons are over six foot tall, amazing in every way and have the strongest faith in God. Each day they amaze me at who they have become and how they draw their strength from their Savior. He has already used them in mighty ways and I look forward to their future as they walk before Christ with all of their heart.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you so much for your loving kindness and saving grace. Thank you for keeping your covenant and showing us steadfast love. May we walk in your ways each and every day showing others your love. In Christ’s name. Amen.
