The Lord is With Us

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

From our Encouraging Word sister Debbie McKee.

That verse is especially for us right now. The Lord would say nothing separates us from His love, not even a worldwide pandemic.

What a wonderful Savior we have, He knows our every need, He sees each tear that falls and He is with us, available for help and comfort every moment.

This is a time unprecedented, in our lives. Most of us have never gone through anything quite like this before. We have a choice; to rest in Him and abide in Him; trusting that he holds the world in His hands. Or we can choose to be crazy with anxiety and worry.

Let’s choose trust and allow His peace to soothe our anxious hearts and give us rest in these troubled times.

Prayer: May the God of peace guard your hearts and minds and may you overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Philippians 4:7b, Romans 15:13b). In Jesus name. Amen.

  1. Oh Debbie, Yes to all you have said. We have a Wonderful Savior who holds the Whole World in His Hands. Let us lean into Him . Trust Him. Abide in Him. I love the hymn, “Blessed Assurance Jesus is Mine”. I join you in your prayer for each one of us and, especially , our Nation, and the entire World during this pandemic. Amen Lord, let it be so. Blessings of health and protection to you and yours, Susan
