“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry.” Psalm 34:15

Oftentimes, we find it easier to go to the Lord in prayer when there has been a tragedy, when lives are lost, an illness is near, or with any unsettling circumstances. For others, it may be easier to go to the Lord with thanksgiving when things are going well in our lives. Our Heavenly Father waits for us in all circumstances to hear from His children. He hears our laughter and He hears our cries. He is right there beside us; He is attentive to us. When you are feeling unsettled, upset, scared, sad or hurt, just lift your voice to the one who has created you and knows everything about you. He desires to hear from you. He eagerly awaits to listen to all of your concerns.

He tells us that when we pray together, He is there. If you are unable to physically gather with another, pick up your phone and call, text, or email and pray for one another. He will still be there. When you have no spoken words to pray, He knows your heart and just what you need. Not only is He your Heavenly Father who loves you dearly, but He is your friend and Almighty Counselor who knows all things. Go to Him in prayer. “Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7.

Be encouraged!

Prayer: Dear Almighty Father, we come before you with thanksgiving that you do care and desire to hear from us. Thank you for loving us so much to come beside us. Help us to set our cares before you at your feet. Give us strength to face the day’s trials and joy as we see the blessings all around us. In your precious Son’s name, Jesus. Amen
